Bracklesham Grove is located within a 22-minute walk (6-minute cycle) of Cakeham Road, East Wittering which provides a more comprehensive range of facilities and amenities including a pharmacy, local supermarkets, doctor’s surgery, post office and dentist.

Walking

There are also a number of Public Rights of Way (PRoW) near you, with the closest along the southern tip of the site, providing a route to the seafront.

If you enjoy walking or would like to walk more often, why not join one of your local walking groups. This is a great way to find out about your local area and meet new people!

West Sussex County Council provides some easy walking trails. There are 14 easy countryside trails, with booklet which can be printed for particular routes of interest.  Cycling

Bracklesham and Chichester in general benefit from a gentle topography, making it attractive for everyone to get out on their bikes, no matter your age or ability.  With your home only being a 40-minute cycle from Chichester!

National Cycle Route (NCR) runs from Selsey to West Dean and NCR 2 runs from Dover all the way to Plymouth. You can join it from Chichester and then just complete a small ride to Emsworth or Havant or carry on into Portsmouth. Cycle routes available in the wider area can be found on the Sustrans website. If you are new to cycling and want to join like-minded people, why not join a cycling group? CTC Bognor and Chichester Group is part of Cycling UK. Run by an experienced cyclist, taking relatively traffic free routes, with varied routes depending on your experience. Travelling by Bus

As the local bus network offers convenient routes to most local destinations, with frequent services, could this be the travel mode for you?

Buses run regularly all throughout the day, so whether you need to get to work, the shops or pick up the children from school, the bus provides an alternative to the private car. With bus stops being 160m from your home.

Nearest bus stops are Holdens Farm Caravan Park and Clappers Lane, 2-minute walk from your home.

Travelling by Train

Chichester Railway Station (CCH) is located 10km northwest of your home and is accessible via a 30-minute cycle or by bus routes no.52 and no.53 taking around 40 minutes. Bognor Regis Railway Station (BOG) located approximately 17.7 km east of your home at Bracklesham Grove. Both stations are operated by Southern railways and provide a service to Littlehampton and London Victoria (1hr 45). Bognor Regis also provides regular services to Barnham. Chichester Railway Station has great access to lots of stations including Portsmouth Harbour, Southampton Central, Brighton. Both stations provide a train ramp if needed and step free access to platforms. Bognor Regis has 97 car parking spaces and 184 bike storage spaces, while Chichester has 202 spaces for car parking and 108 bike storage spaces.

You can also create a pocket timetable here which allows you to create a personalised timetable for up to 3 selected departures and/or arrivals including Mondays-Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
