Your new home is located approximately 3.5km away from Havant Town Centre which is host to a wide range of amenities and facilities. Your new home is also within walking distance to frequent bus services, a supermarket, and post office.
Your local catchment schools are Bidbury Infant and Junior School and Warblington Secondary School. You will also receive a School Travel Pack which will contain a guide on how to travel to these schools sustainably and efficiently!
A number of healthcare facilities are located within reach of your home at Harbour Place. These include:
- Queen Alexandra Hospital (Bus 23)
- Drayton Surgery (Bus route 23 or 20 minute walk)
- Park Lane Medical Centre (27 minute walk)

Education
Hampshire County Council have provided key information in Bidbury and Warblington schools, which are nearby to your new home. Dedicated webpages have been created to support active travel to the schools which is provided at: https://myjourneyhampshire.com/schooltravelprojects
The websites provide information on buses to the schools, Park & Stride routes to Bidbury Schools and Warblington Cycle Map. The Walk To School map below shows routes from your new home to the schools.

Bus Services
Regular bus services provide Harbour Place with excellent links to facilities and services in the local and wider surrounding area.
The local area is served by the 23 Stagecoach bus service which operates from Leigh Park to Southsea every 10-30 minutes Monday – Saturday and every 15-30 minutes on Sundays. Use the link below for the most up to date timetables.

Where to catch the bus:
The nearest bus stops to Harbour Place for services 23 and 21 are located on Havant Road just outside the development (as shown on the local area map). These bus stops are supported by:
- Flag poles and timetables
- Bus shelter (Westbound)
- Seating

- The walk to and from the bus is a great way to incorporate some physical activity into your daily routine.
- Relax and read a book whilst you travel to your destination.
- Season tickets offer unlimited travel on services and can prove cheaper than running a car.
Walking
Havant Walking to Health
Havant Walking to Health walks are free, fun and full of local beauty. The walks are led by volunteers and are designed to cater for all ages and abilities. Cycling
Havant Road’s gentle gradient and off-road footway adjacent to the carriage make it the perfect environment for cycling! Several local cycle routes are in close proximity to your new home, including:
National Cycle Route (NCR) 22 which runs from Banstead to Portsmouth. The route is accessed via Eastern Road off Havant Road 1.5km west of Harbour Place.
There is also NCR 222 600m west of the development which is a mostly traffic free route between Guildford and Shoreham
Halfords Havant and Evans Cycles – your local bike shops ! Both are based on Solent Road a 35 minute walk or 11 minute cycle away from your new home. Claim a £50 voucher and redeem it at Halfords towards the purchase of cycle equipment and accessories

Rail Services
Bedhampton Train Station (BDH) is located approximately 1.25 miles east of your home at Harbour Place; accessible within a 25 minute walk or a 7 minute cycle.
From Bedhampton Station, Southern Railways services run on a frequent basis to key destinations such as London Waterloo (1h 43m), Littlehampton (42m), Portsmouth Harbour (18m) and Portsmouth and Southsea (12m). Use the link below for a live departures board.
