Located within Mickleton village, Oak Grange is within easy reach of a number of key amenities. These include Mickleton Primary School situated on Broad Marston lane adjacent to Oak Grange, Mickleton Methodist Church and King George’s Hall (community centre) both situated on Chapel Lane, and Mickleton Post Office on Mill Lane. A Village Store is located on the High Street, as well as several bus stops. The site is also in close proximity to several pubs and restaurants including The Butchers Arms on Chapel Lane and The Kings Arms on the High Street. Buses
The closest bus stops to the site are the Three Ways Hotel bus stops situated on the High Street, adjacent and opposite to the Village Store. The stops can be accessed from Oak Grange via Broad Marston Lane and Chapel Lane (a 7-minute walk approx).
The stops have a number of services running from it, with direct routes to Moreton-in-Marsh, Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, and the surrounding areas. Services from this stop are run by several different providers including Johnsons Excelbus, Marchants Coaches and the Hedghehog Community Bus. Full up to date timetables can be found here.
Rail
Both Honeybourne Railway Station (4 miles) and Evesham Railway Station (11 miles) are located near to your new home.
Situated on the Cotswold Line, Honeybourne Railway Station provides services to destinations such as Moreton-in-Marsh (12 mins), Evesham (9 mins), Oxford (50 mins), Reading (1 hr 20 mins), and London (1 hr 50 mins).
From Evesham Railway Station, also situated on the Cotswold Line, you can travel directly to destinations such as Worcester Shrub Hill (20 mins) and Hereford (1 hr 15 mins).
Cycle
There are some great opportunities for cyclists in the Mickleton area, with the Cotswolds providing the perfect backdrop for a cycle ride – either on or off road! The development is the perfect distance away for a short cycle ride into the town centre. Alternatively, North Cotswold Cycling Club offers the support for new or established riders to join their ranks and offer a number of different ride difficulties to accommodate any potential members. They offer young persons membership as well, offering something for the whole family.
