Buses
Regular bus services provide Royal Crescent Apartments with excellent links to facilities and services in the local and wider surrounding area, as well as to further public transport services.
The local area is served by the 3 First bus service from Lords Hill to Thornhill (via Southampton city centre); with a service every 8 – 10 minutes Monday – Friday, every 15 – 20 minutes on Saturdays and every 12 – 30 minutes on Sundays.
The nearest bus stops to Royal Crescent Apartments for bus service 3 are located on Canute Road, both within a 2 minute walk from your new home (as shown on the map).

Rail
Southampton Central Station is located approximately 1.3 miles northwest of your home at Royal Crescent Apartments; accessible within a 25 minute walk or an 8 minute cycle. From Southampton Central Station, Southern Railway and South Western Railway services run on a frequent basis to direct key destinations such as London Waterloo (1h 20), Bristol Temple Meads (1h 40 mins), Brighton (1h 50 mins) and Bournemouth (30 mins).

If you’re a keen cyclist and fancy getting the train, then plan your journey with PlusBike. Cycling
National Cycle Network routes 2, 23 and 236 run in the vicinity of your new home throughout Southampton and the surrounding area. A cycle into Southampton City Centre is under 10 minutes perfect for travelling to the train station or accessing local services and amenities. If you’re a keen cyclist look at joining the Southampton CTC! Southampton CTC is a cycling group for riders living in Southampton and the surrounding area. They offer a range of cycle rides and special events throughout the year and campaign for better cycle facilities. For more details visit southamptonctc.wordpress.com.

Car Club
If you would like access to a vehicle without the hassle and expense of owning one then a car club would be ideal for you. Solent Go gives you access to two local car clubs; one in Southampton with access to cars in 16 UK cities and one in Eastleigh with access to cars in over 60 different towns and cities. Your Solent Go travelcard gives you access to all Enterprise Car Club vehicles in Southampton. It also means that you can use other vehicles they have in other cities, and vehicles can be hired for just an hour or two or however long you need. Your nearest Enterprise is Southampton Central Docks and is 2.6km from your home. Use your FREE voucher for 1 year of Enterprise membership with £50 driving credit.

As part of the Travel Plan each apartment is eligible for a free £450 travel voucher. The purpose of which is to help you travel more sustainably. This is funded by the developer and there are several options that you can claim.
