Buses
The closest bus stops are located on Bedfont Lane approximately 500m and 500m for the northbound and southbound directions respectively. Further bus services are available on Staines Road, 650m north of the site. Details of the local bus services operating from Bedford Lane are detailed below:
- H25 TfL service between Hatton Cross and Hanworth – Approximately every 10/15 minutes.
- H21 Diamond Buses service between Shore Close and Heathrow Terminal Four – Approximately every 35 minutes.
Walking to and from the bus is a great way to incorporate some physical activity into your daily routine. Secondly you can relax and read a book whilst you travel to your destination. Lastly, season tickets also offer unlimited travel on services and can prove cheaper than running a car.
Rail
Feltham railway station is located approximately 1.5km (19-minute walk or 5-minute cycle) southeast of the site and can be accessed off Bedfont Lane. Feltham railway station is served by South Western Railway services with the table below summarising the direct services from this station. Cycle
There are great opportunities for cyclists with a series of local cycleways in the vicinity of the site including local cycle route 99 which can be accessed on Bedfont Lane and provides access to Heathrow Airport to the north and Feltham Town Centre to the southeast. The local cycle routes in the vicinity of the site are demonstrated within the figure below.
Car Sharing and Car Clubs
Car sharing is a great way to have access to a car without owning one. You also get the opportunity to engage with people making the same journey as you in your local area.
Hiya car club is a membership scheme offering people use of a car on a pay-as-you-go basis. The scheme saves you the additional costs of owning your own car and means that you have easy access to a car for the occasional journeys that you require one.
