Within Farnham there are a number of amenities located along the High Street, including convenience stores, a post office, pharmacy, public houses, places of worship, eateries and Library.

Bus Travel

The closest bus stops to the site can be found along West Street at the ‘Mead Lane’ stops. From this pair of bus stops you can access the Stagecoach route 65 bus service which connects Alton to Guilford every hour Monday to Saturday. For more information on this bus service please click here.

In addition to the 65 bus service, further Stagecoach bus services are available from ‘The Borough’ or ‘South Street’ near Sainsburys in Farnham Town Centre. Below is a list of the additional routes as well as a link to each routes current timetable.

  • 4 and 5 which both connect Aldershot to Farnham. See timetables here.
  • 16 – connects Aldershot to Rowledge every 1 hour 30/40 minutes. See timetable here.
  • 17, 18 and 19 all connect Farnham with Aldershot as well as Haslemere, Rowlegde and Bordon. See timetable here.
  • 46 – connects Aldershot, Badshot Lea, Farnham, Elsted and Guildford. See timetable here.

Train Travel

Farnham Train Station is approximately 2km from your new home, accessible via a 25-minute walk or 9-minute cycle.

Billingshurst Train Station has direct routes to:

  • London Waterloo – 59 minute journey
  • Guildford – 23 minute journey
  • Alton – 13 minute journey

Billingshurst Train Station is equipped with 134 cycle storage spaces, 24-hour CCTV, ticket office, customer help points, toilets and a public use telephone.

Bicycle Travel

National Cycle Route 22 is accessed from Farnham Railway Station located circa 2km to the south east of Abbey View. This route runs from Banstead to Portsmouth via Guildford, Petersfield and Havant.

In addition, the Christmas Pie Trail is a leisure route which runs form the northwest edge of Guildford to the east side of Farnham and is approximately 8.5 miles in length.

To help you get the most out of your local cycle network, as part of the Travel Plan Taylor Wimpey are offering residents a £200 Cycle Voucher to spend at your local Halfords Store which can be used towards a bike purchase or the purchase of bike equipment.
