Your Local Surroundings

There are several local amenities and facilities located within Ramsey, with Huntingdon providing access to a range more.

Mill View is surrounded by a supermarket, a doctors surgery and community centre all located within a 200m distance (approximately a 5 minute walk) from your new home.

Huntingdon Town Centre is located approximately 18km southwest of Ramsey and can be accessed by Dews Coaches bus service 305 which operate your local Great Whyte bus stop, located an approximate 8 minute walk from your home. This provides you with additional amenities and facilities such as Huntingdon Hinchingbrooke Hospital, local supermarkets, a range of shops, and a leisure centre.

Your new homes is located within a short distance from High Lode which is a river that runs in a north to south direction, approximately 300m east of your new home. There are many scenic walks located along High Lode, specifically the Ren Edge Trail which is a walked from Ramsey to Wistow, south of your home. Travel by Bus

  • Great Whyte bus stops are your local bus stops and are served by stagecoach and Dews Coaches services 305, 301 and 31. The Great Whyte bus stops are located an approximate 8 minute walk east of your home at the junction of New Road. (as shown on the local area map).

  • The Department for Transport’s £2 bus fare scheme has been extended, this scheme is now dated to end in June 2024. This scheme is outlined to be valid on Stagecoach services, but you will need to check your local Stagecoach service 31 before you travel to see if the cap applies.

  • Relax and read a book whilst you travel to your destination; and
  • Season tickets offer unlimited travel on services and can prove cheaper than running a car.

Travel by Rail

Huntingdon Railway Station is your local rail station and is located south of Huntingdon Town Centre, approximately 4km from your home and accessible within a 18 minute cycle. Huntingdon Railway Station is operated by Great Northern Rail and National Rail services, the station is equipped with;

  • a ticket office;
  • cycle storage;
  • ticket machine;
  • car parking;
  • step free access to all platforms; and
  • toilets.
