Your Local Area
Within the site itself, the new local community centre has now opened! The YMCA Eastleigh (https://ymca-fg.org/eastleigh) is the first building in Hampshire to combine a nursery, community centre, and café. Supporting local residents as well as the wider Eastleigh town, the centre delivers fun school holiday activities and an exciting event programme with something for all ages.
Beyond this you have an approximate 25 minute walk to get into Eastleigh Town Centre which provides a comprehensive range of amenities including The Swan Shopping Centre, a variety of restaurants, pharmacies, places of worship and leisure facilities (including a cinema and bowling alley). Visit www.swanshopping.com for a more detailed list of facilities and where to find them.
Not sure what events are going on in your local area? A full list of events in Eastleigh can be found by visiting www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Eastleigh/near/North-Stoneham/town-t27922/. Have a look through and gather some ideas for family fun, sporting adventures and other sustainable activities.
