Emsworth Town Centre is located approximately 1.6km away and is host to a wide array of facilities including pharmacies, restaurants, a library and a post office. The most common ways of travelling to the town centre is by walking (19 minutes), cycling (5 minutes) and bus (4 minutes).

The neighbouring village of Westbourne is located a convenient 3 minute cycle from Redlands Grange. It provides a wide variety of services including a doctors surgery, pharmacies, restaurants and a post office.

This page has been updated to reflect the most recent timetables in place during this outbreak. Any further updates/changes to services will be monitored and updated.**

Bus Services

The Southleigh Roundabout bus stop is your nearest bus stop and is located a short 2 minute walk south west of Skylark Avenue.

This stop has a number of services running from it, which provide direct routes to Havant, Denvilles and Rowlands Castle. The services from this stop are run by First and Stagecoach. Full service updates and timetable information can be found on their websites.

A journey to Denvilles has approximately 5 minutes, Havant 12 minutes and Leigh Park lasts 17 minutes, making the bus an easy and efficient way of commuting.

From the 28th June 2020, the First 54 bus service will be operating between Chichester and Petersfield. Click here to find timetable infromation.

Remember to check before you travel and to bring a face mask as this is now compulsory on public transport services unless you meet the exemption criteria. **

Rail

Emsworth Railway Station is a 17 minute walk or 5 minute cycle from Redlands Grange. The train station contains a selection of facilities to make for easy, safe and convenient travelling. Facilities include: Toilets, Ticket Office, CCTV, Customer Help Points and car and cycle parking.

Emsworth Railway Station provides direct routes to:

  • Portsmouth (20 minute Journey)
  • Worthing (40 minute journey)
  • Eastleigh (40 minute journey)
  • Southampton Central (45 minutes journey)
  • Brighton (1 hour journey)
  • London Victoria (1 hour 40 minute journey)

Cycle

Why not switch 4 wheels to 2 and cycle to work, for exercise or just for fun. Havant Borough Council have devised a map highlighting all the best cycling routes in your local area along with details on all local cycle facilities. Take a look at it here.

In addition, the helpful map found on Sustrans shows the National Cycle Routes (NCR) in the surrounding area. The green routes show traffic free routes, whereas the purple routes are on-road. The NCR 2 connects to numerous surrounding areas including Hermitage, Chichester and Bognor Regis.

With so many great cycling routes on your doorstep why not put on your cycle helmet and get active!
