Your local area
Summer Fields is located within Pagham home to numerous local amenities and is approximately 5km west of Bognor Regis Town Centre. Pagham contains a variety of amenities within a short walking or cycling distance, including a local supermarket, post office, village hall and doctors’ surgery.

Pagham Harbour Walk- from your home you are an approximate 1.6km from Pagham beach front which is an approximate 20-minute walk or a 7-minute cycle. This is ideal for leisurely walks or day trips to the beach front.

Summer Fields has a perfect environment for cycling as it is mostly flat, and it is only an approximate 20-minute cycle to Bognor Regis Town Centre. There are some great opportunities for cyclists including local routes and well-known national cycle routes in and around the areas of West Sussex. Cycling is a sustainable and enjoyable way to travel which allows you to keep fit whilst being money efficient.
The National Cycle Route 2 and 88 are the closest NCN routes to access from Summer Fields. The routes both travel through Chichester and is a great opportunity to see amazing views and nature reserves whilst enjoying the cycle.

West Sussex County Council offer One-to-one cycle training courses for any age groups. Personalised cycling lessons are available to address your specific requirements if you are new to cycling. are returning to cycling, would like to gain the confidence and skills you need to ride on the road or would like to improve your road riding skills to an advanced level.

Local Cycle Shops
Bognor Bike Hub– This bike shop in Bognor Regis, Aldwick Road, is located an approximate 14-minute cycle from your home and can provide bike servicing and new cycle equipment.
Bicycle repair shop– ‘The Local Spokes Man’, Nyetimber lane, is an approximate 15-minute walk or a 5-minute cycle from your home, great for bicycle repairs.
Travel by bus
Summer Fields has regular bus services providing excellent links to facilities and services in your surrounding area. The bus stops can be assessed by a short walk from your home.
The Lamb bus stop is your closest bus stop outside of your development at the Summer Lane and Pagham Road junction. This provides the 600 service which operates between Bognor Regis and Chichester every 20 minutes Monday-Saturday and every 30 minutes on Sundays.
Esher Close bus stop is a 15-minute walk from your home which is located on Leonara Drive, near Esher Close which provides the 62 service which operates between Rose Green and Bognor Regis, Retail Parks. This service runs on Mondays – Saturdays.

Travel by train
Your closest railway station is Bognor Regis (BOG) located approximately 5.5km east of your home at Summer Fields, which is an estimated 17-minute cycle ride.
Alternatively, Chichester Railway Station (CCH) is located approximately 9.5 km north of Summer Fields, which is an estimated 30-minute cycle ride.
Why take the train?
- Taking the train means you can work on the go or relax, without the stress of driving and parking.

- It can be faster than travelling by road.
Both stations are operated by Southern railways. Services from Bognor Regis run regularly to London Victoria, Littlehampton, and Barnham. Chichester Station benefits from additional destinations including Portsmouth and Southsea, Southampton Central and Brighton.
