Below shows Public Right of Way Footpath 94/2 which is about 250m from your workplace, on High Street, and meets at Station Road, by Foxton Rail Station. This could potentially be an ideal walking circuit on your lunch break!

Scenic Walks around Foxton
Foxton Wood is a 7-minute walk or 1-minute cycle from your workplace. There are walking trails throughout the wood, or you can follow the path all the way to Fowlmere.

South Cambridgeshire is ideal for cycling, being mainly flat. Foxton village benefits from access to regional cycle route NB. Regional cycle route NB provides access to Whittlesford in 29 minutes.

Don’t forget, alongside the A10 Royston Road there is an off-road shared footway/cycleway/bridleway which provides access to Harston (approximately an 11-minute cycle) and to Meldreth/Melbourn (approximately a 20 minute cycle).

Travel by Bus
Why take the bus?
- The walk to and from the bus is a great way to incorporate some physical activity into your daily routine
- Relax and read a book whilst you travel to your destination
- Season tickets offer unlimited travel on services and can prove cheaper than running a car
The nearest bus stops to your workplace are located on Station Road and are known as the War Memorial bus stops. This is a less than one minute walk/cycle from your new workplace. The War Memorial bus stop is operated by A2B travel group.
Bus service 26 is available from the War Memorial bus stops and provides a route between Royston and Cambridge every 1-2 hours, from 6am to 6pm, every Monday – Saturday. The service does not operate on Sundays or on Public Holidays.

Travel by Rail
Why take the train?
- Taking the train means you can work on the go or relax, without the stress of driving and parking.
- It’s good for the planet; trainline will show you how much C02 you saved based on your journeys!
- It can be faster than travelling by road.
You can reach Foxton Rail Station within a 5-minute walk or 1-minute cycle. It is approximately 400m from your workplace on Station Road. Services to London Kings Cross and Cambridge operate twice per hour.
Foxton Rail service provides cycle parking and cycle charging facilities. At Foxton Rail Station, there are accessible ticket machines with an induction loop, seating area and a ramp for train access. Tactile warnings are on all platforms.

Car Travel Options
Park and Ride
The Press is located within 7km south-west of the Trumpington Park and Ride Facilities which provides a regular service into Cambridge operating Monday to Friday from 7.00am- 8.10pm with up to 6 services per hour and on a Sunday every 15 minutes from 9.00am- 6.00pm.
