Safford Park also provides a playground and greenspace within the centre of the site.

  • Closest bike shop is Halfords Newhaven located in The Drove Retail Park, Newhaven. A 7-minute walk.
  • Seahaven cycles 1.9km from your home offers a range of services, and will travel to you if needed

Travel by Bus

  • The nearest bus stops to your home is Newhaven Town Railway Station, with further stops on Drive Road.  Both are a 5-minute walk from your new home. Key services which are provided are 12/12A, 14/14C and 145
  • 12/12A Brighton & Hove bus services from Eastbourne to Brighton; with a service every 10 minutes Monday – Friday and every 20 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays.
  •  14/14C bus service to Brighton and the 145-bus service, run by Compass Travel, which serves the Newhaven Circular route.
  • The Department for Transport’s £3 bus fare scheme has been extended – now ending on December 2025.
