Within walking distance of your home, there are a number of amenities including a Tesco Superstore, Hook train station and a pharmacy, as outlined on the below map:

Local Pedestrian Network

Local Walking Clubs
Basingstoke Ramblers:
One of the local walking clubs close to your home is the Basingstoke Ramblers.
They are a friendly walking club that walk regularly on Wednesdays and Sundays all year round. Occasionally Tuesday evening walks and Saturday walks are also available. With an annual membership costing only £5 why not make some new friends and get fit while doing it!

Hart Health Walks

Local Walking and Cycling Routes
There are plenty of parks and open spaces near to your home, ideal for taking a
stroll or a cycle through.
Some of the parks and opens spaces near your home include:
- Hartletts Park (12-minute walk / 4-minute cycle) – comprising two football pitches and
tennis courts that are free of charge to use along with a children’s playground, an
outdoor gym and skateboard ramps in the park. - Bassetts Mead Country Park (22-minute walk / 7-8-minute cycle) – an area of
public open space adjoining the River Whitewater, to the east of Hook. - Whitewater Country Park (24-minute walk / 8-minute cycle) – a tranquil walk
along the banks of the crystal-clear River Whitewater. Fenced, away from busy
roads and with opportunities for a cooling dip in the river.

Hook Velo is Hook’s Community Cycle Group with a free membership You can access rides by simply requesting to join the group The group operates on minimal costs and will ask riders for a small annual donation Club.

Travel by Bus
Why take the bus?

The closest bus stops to the site can be found along Station Road at ‘Berry Court Bus Stop’, and ‘Hook Railway Station Bus Stop’. From these stops the following Stagecoach services are available:
- 13 which runs between Basingstoke, Hook, Alton and Bordon hourly Monday-Saturday (and two hourly on Sundays)

Travel by Rail
Hook Train Station is approximately 300m from your new home, accessible via a 4-minute walk or 2-minute cycle.
