Eastleigh has a fantastic range of facilities, amenities and services, however you are also not too far from both Hedge End Retail Park and Southampton City Centre if you want a change of scene. Click here for a more detailed list of facilities and where to find them.
Rail
Eastleigh Railway Station is located approximately 1.5km (a 20 minute walk or 6 minute cycle) from you.
The station is well equipped to suit your every need, with 130 cycle storage spaces, 133 car parking spaces, customer help points and CCTV.
Eastleigh Railway Station has great access to lots of destinations including Portsmouth, Romsey, Poole and London Waterloo. This should make your commute, weekend away or day trip as easy as possible.

Buses
As the local bus network offers convenient routes to local destinations, could this be the travel mode for you? The nearest bus stops to you are situated on Leigh Road and provide services to Eastleigh and Chandlers Ford.
Services have updated with local services including X4 and X4A now, instead of X6 and X7. The X4 provides a route between Eastleigh Bus Station and Hedge End, with X4A providing a route between Eastleigh Bus Station and Velmore. More information visit: https://xelabus.info/timetables
The Bluestar 2 and 5 bus services are still operating from the bus stops outside Eastleigh Train Station, which are accessible via a 20 minute walk to the east of the development. The number 2 can also be accessed from Derby Road, which is a 15 minute walk and the number 5 from Passfield Avenue, which is an 18 minute walk.
The Bluestar 2 bus services provides connection to Southampton, Winchester, Chandler’s Ford, Otterbourne, Compton and St Cross. The revised timetable for this service can be accessed here: https://www.bluestarbus.co.uk/services/BLUS/2

In addition, Lakeside Country Park is situated 2.8km (10 minute cycle) south of your development which provides 22 hectares of lake, meadow and woodland. A small train operates around the park providing an excellent opportunity to see the features on offer. Why not take the children for a bike ride and enjoy a picnic in the park?

Fuel Saving Driving Tips
•Keep your car in good working order including making sure your tyres are the correct pressure
•Brake and accelerate gently. By anticipating the road ahead, drivers can brake and accelerate less, helping boost fuel efficiency.
•Drive in the correct gear. The rule of thumb is ‘high gear for low revs’ meaning less fuel consumed.
•Switch off the engine if you think you will be stationary for more than 2 minutes. Also avoid unnecessary revving or idling.
•Where possible Walk, Cycle, or take Public Transport to your destination!
